Itel Mobile is a Chinese brand that manages to create ultra-budget smartphones. The price for them does not exceed 10–12 thousand rubles, and worthy models can be found from the entire range. Of course, they cannot compete with the top camera phones from Xiaomi or Huawei. But with the main tasks (communication in instant messengers and social networks, opening browser pages, etc.) they do an excellent job. Today we will talk about cheap Itel smartphones, which, in our opinion, deserve attention.

How to choose an inexpensive smartphone

It is important to note right away that Itel phones are not designed to run heavy applications or new super games. They cannot become a replacement for expensive camera phones. These are budget gadgets with limited features.

If you need the cheapest smartphone for daily tasks (open applications, files, communicate, take photos in average quality), you can choose the best option among Itel products.

When choosing a suitable model, you should look at the following parameters:

- amount of random access memory (RAM). It depends on its quantity — how quickly the gadget can open / close pages. Itel has models with 1 GB of RAM. But this is not enough for comfortable use. After a couple of months, they begin to slow down on simple tasks (open the application). Therefore, we did not include such models in the top. 2–3 GB — the minimum amount of RAM that a smartphone should have so that it does not slow down when opening the phone book, SMS, browser pages;

- the amount of internal memory. The more it is, the more applications you can install, store photos and videos. It is better to choose from 32 GB, no less;

- Battery capacity. The larger the battery capacity, the longer the smartphone will last on a single charge. It is optimal to choose from 3500–4000 mAh. With such a battery, the phone will last up to 8–9 hours on a single charge with constant use;

- screen resolution. It depends on how bright and clear the picture will be. If the resolution is very low, then the eyes will get tired when watching the video, scrolling the tape. Therefore, a resolution below 1600x720 is not even worth considering;

- Screen size — individual setting. If you like miniature models, it is better to choose up to 6 inches. If large — from 6 inches.

Now let’s move on to our rating. All prices are valid at the time of writing.

Itel Vision 1 Pro

The cheapest Itel smartphone from our top. A model in a classic modern design: a minimum of details, thin frames, rounded edges. For a diagonal of 6.52, the resolution of 1600x720 is not top-end. But it is standard for this price range. For example, Xiaomi Redmi 9A has the same screen resolution. The picture will be quite clear and bright.

Responsible for the speed of the 4‑core processor Spreadtrum SC9832 with a frequency of 1.4 GHz. RAM 2 GB. All this suggests that this model is not intended for games or work with content.

But the Itel Vision 1 Pro phone will do just fine with basic tasks:

  • open pages in the browser without freezes;
  • run undemanding games (for example, Three in a row);
  • turn on video, music in the player;
  • make calls and send SMS;
  • open instant messengers and social networks;
  • take photos and shoot videos. The main camera is 8 MP and the front camera is 5 MP. There is no built-in artificial intelligence that improves pictures. But such a camera is enough to take a clear photo in daylight or artificial light.

In addition, the Itel Vision 1 Pro smartphone has a 4000 mAh battery, which is enough for a full 8–9 hours of active use.

Itel A49

Compact Itel phone (75.9x16x8.55 mm) with a stylish design in a black plastic case. The surface is matte, non-marking, prints do not remain on the surface. Differs from the previous model:

  • dimensions (6.56 inches vs. 6.52);
  • camera. This model is worse. Main 5 MP vs 8 MP in Itel Vision 1 Pro.

The model, like the previous one, is equipped with a 4‑core processor with a frequency of 1.4 GHz. Only not Spreadtrum SC9832, but Unisoc SC9832E. Since there is only one price segment, they are almost identical in terms of performance.

But the Itel A49 smartphone was released in 2022, and the Vision 1 Pro in 2020. The A49 has more modern hardware that will become obsolete later. Therefore, if you expect to use this smartphone for 2–3 years, it is better to take a newer model.

Itel Vision 2S

Compact model (166x76.3x8.9 mm) with a very capacious battery. Its capacity is 5000 mAh. This is enough for 10–12 hours of continuous use.

Stylish design is a feature of this model. The case is made in several colors: dark blue and bright blue. The sides are rounded as much as possible to make the body seem very thin. And the frame around the screen is almost invisible. This makes the 6.52-inch display look even larger.

The smartphone Itel Vision 2S has an 8 MP main camera, a 5 MP front camera. Enough to take a selfie and capture an important event.

In general, the Itel Vision 2S phone is a budget model for children or those who do not need a top-end gaming phone or camera phone. It does an excellent job with basic functions.

Itel Vision 3

Budget novelty 2022. This smartphone clearly stands out from the previous ones thanks to:

  • 3 GB of RAM;
  • 8‑core processor Unisoc SC9863A with a frequency of 1.6 Hz.

This makes it faster, more powerful, more reliable. He can no longer only open messages, photos and tabs in the browser. But also run undemanding programs (for example, Meitu — for editing images), medium-powered games.

The large 6.6‑inch display makes it easy to read, edit photos, watch videos and play games. And thanks to the light sensor, the smartphone will change the display brightness to a more suitable one to reduce eye strain.

The battery capacity is 5000 mAh — this is enough for up to 10–12 hours of constant use. There is wireless charging. With its help, in 2 hours you can fully charge the gadget from 0 to 100%.

And the Itel Vision 3 smartphone also made it to the top of the most reliable cheap smartphones for Android 2022 — you can read more about this in our blog.

Itel Vision 3 Plus

The top model on our list. This is another novelty of 2022, which stands out from the background of all models from Itel. Her virtues:

  • 1.6 GHz UNISoC T606 8‑core processor, which in combination with 4 GB provides fast performance without slowdowns;
  • large screen (6.8 inches) — the maximum in our top;
  • good camera. 13 MP main and 8 MP front. By comparison, this is better than the popular Xiaomi Redmi 9C 4/128Gb from the same price category. Their main cameras are identical, and Xiaomi’s front camera is slightly worse — 5 megapixels;
  • capacious battery — 6000 mAh. This is enough to enjoy watching videos, filming content and playing games for 10–12 hours;
  • 64 GB of internal memory is enough for applications, videos and photos. And if you need more space, you can install an additional memory card.
