How to extend battery life

• The bat­tery must not be allowed to ful­ly dis­charge. Fre­quent full dis­charge and turn­ing off the cam­era neg­a­tive­ly affects the bat­tery life. So the bat­tery wears out faster.
• It is bet­ter to store bat­ter­ies in a state of 50% charge.
• Do not allow fre­quent hypother­mia. The more often and longer shoot­ing is car­ried out at low tem­per­a­tures, the more it affects the wear of the bat­tery.
• The same applies to work at low atmos­pher­ic pres­sure (for exam­ple, in the moun­tains). Bat­tery capac­i­ty at high alti­tude or at low tem­per­a­tures is reduced by 10–20%.
• Use the pow­er sav­ing mode on the cam­era.
• Don’t waste time look­ing at pho­tos. The longer the LCD screen remains in play­back mode, the faster the bat­tery will run out.
• Do not turn on/off the cam­era fre­quent­ly.
