What is an orthopedic corset for?

A prop­er­ly select­ed ortho­pe­dic corset fix­es and sup­ports the spine in a phys­i­o­log­i­cal posi­tion, reduces the load on the back, increas­es the tone of the back mus­cles and relieves ten­sion.

The corset can also have a warm­ing effect to stim­u­late blood cir­cu­la­tion.

Why do we need stiffeners and fixing straps?

Stiff­en­ers are an impor­tant detail of many corsets. They rein­force the sup­port and keep the shape of the corset so that it does­n’t roll and does­n’t wrin­kle. They pro­vide an anatom­i­cal fit: the prod­uct must cor­rect­ly fol­low the curves of the spine and pro­vide com­fort. Can be flex­i­ble or rigid — flex­i­ble ribs are used in soft mod­els.

Our corset has a ban­dage in the back area 4 stiff­en­ers made of durable plas­tic. They serve to sup­port the low­er back, and also reduce the load on the mus­cles and spine. A wide elas­tic band with Vel­cro addi­tion­al­ly tight­ens the ban­dage and fix­es it on the body.

The mod­el is made of 3D-mesh, which allows air to pass through and removes excess mois­ture.
