Camera traps are a separate type of autonomous cameras for hunters and wildlife researchers. The camera is placed in the wild (on an animal trail, near holes, near a forest feeder, etc.), and is triggered by a photosensor. Based on the analysis of the obtained photographs, one can draw interesting conclusions about the population and species of animals, their habits, get unusual shots and have time to capture the moment of appearance in the frame.

The Keen Ranger PT model provides not only autonomous operation, but also access via an LTE / 4G connection, including live broadcasts in 2K resolution. Autonomous power is supplied from a solar battery from the kit, as well as a built-in battery. The PTZ drive mechanism allows you to select a 360-degree field of view, ensuring the search and control of the entire space.

The application allows you to connect to the camera from both a smartphone and a tablet, rotate it vertically and horizontally, save pictures and access the storage.

Such a camera can be used not only for hunting, but also as a camera trap for violators. There is a function of alerts, including “anti-theft”. The Keen camera has built-in IR illumination and night recording mode. Detailed performance characteristics can be viewed on the official Keencamera website.
