Previous versions of the iPhone were criticized for the lack of a high screen refresh rate, outdated design and poor autonomy. The 14 Pro Max was able to implement all the technological innovations in a case with a signature build quality. For this, Apple asks for 125,000 rubles, turning the device into the most expensive smartphone in Russia.

Stuart Hughes iPhone 4s Elite Gold — smartphone with 500 diamonds and a box with tyrannosaurus rex bones

The top three monstrously beautiful and most expensive smartphones in the world is opened by the creation of the famous British designer Stuart Hughes. It is based on an ordinary 64 GB iPhone 4s, which the master turned into a shining jewel.

The cut and design are a pleasant shock. But no more than the price. Photo: stuarthughes.com

Hughes used 500 diamonds worth $6 million to create the iPhone 4s Elite Gold. The bezel is handcrafted and set with over 100 carats of precious stones. The lid is made of 24-carat gold, the Apple logo received a bonus in the form of 53 diamonds. The button is made of gold with a diamond of 8.6 carats.

Stewart prepared a special package for his masterpiece — a platinum box with polished pieces of T‑Rex bones, rare gems such as quartz and opal. The cost of a miracle of design thought is 7.8 million US dollars or 500 million rubles. But even these figures are far from the price of the most expensive smartphone in the world.

iPhone 5 Black Diamond — a rarity to order worth more than 900 million rubles

The second place in the list is assigned to the iPhone 5 Black Diamond — the author’s work of Stuart Hughes. A businessman from China ordered a unique device with a black diamond, and the designer made two versions — for the customer and the “ordinary people”.

The craftsman spent nine weeks decorating an iPhone 5 for a businessman. The case is made of pure gold, the main diamond is 26 carats. Hughes took 600 white diamonds to decorate the case around the perimeter. The designer made the screen from sapphire glass.

The exact cost of the work and the product was not named, but according to CNN estimates, one black diamond cost 14.5 million US dollars. In total, the customer allegedly paid 15 million US dollars or 958 million rubles.

When the pictures went online, the smartphone aroused unprecedented interest among the public. To please those who want to get a beautiful iPhone not for 15 million, Hughes made a copy — without the black diamond and precious stones. The model-copy made of gold sold only 4 thousand US dollars.

Falcon Supernova iPhone 6 Pink Diamond

The rich people liked the iPhone decoration format, but the abundance of diamonds and other stones has ceased to be a trend. At this time, the Falcon Supernova iPhone 6 appeared — the most expensive smartphone in the world.

The smartphone is covered with gold, but this is not the main thing. A diamond flaunts on the back cover — so big that the price of the device breaks through the mark of 48 million US dollars. 3 billion rubles for a smartphone with a diamond — wildness? Buyers have been found!
