Recently, video editing skills are possessed not only by professionals, but also by bloggers, tiktokers, and storymakers. Editing footage requires a laptop with a powerful processor, plenty of RAM, and a good quality, high-resolution screen. We have collected several models that are perfect for this purpose. Read on to find out which laptops made it to our top.

How was it evaluated

When compiling the top best laptops for video work, we evaluated the following parameters:

— screen — the higher the resolution, the clearer the image (minimum Full HD — 1920 x 1080 pixels); the larger the screen diagonal, the more comfortable and easier the installation process (at least 15 inches); the model with the largest diagonal and screen resolution will receive the maximum score;

— processor — the higher in the rating, the higher the score;

– video card — the higher the GPU class, the faster the editing process; it is better to choose the GTX / RTX series from NVIDIA or RX from AMD; the higher the video card in the rating, the higher the score;

— the amount of RAM — affects the performance when starting the software; the more, the higher the score (minimum 16 GB);

— the amount and type of internal memory — the larger the storage capacity, the more data can be stored (and the higher the score, respectively); it is better to choose a laptop with a solid state drive (SSD), its performance is higher than other types of hard drives (such as HDD), it is better protected from shock to reduce the risk of damage during transportation.

Also, if you plan to carry your laptop around all day, pay attention to its size and battery.

We evaluated each model against other laptops from the rating for each of these characteristics. The maximum score for each criterion is 5 points.
