Against the back­drop of the grow­ing pop­u­lar­i­ty of social net­works, more and more gad­gets are being released designed to improve the con­tent that is post­ed on them. In this post, I will share my impres­sions of the LED ring light that I man­aged to acquire.

Not so long ago, when a child was asked: “What do you want to be when you grow up?”, our coun­try in the future could be replen­ished with many astro­nauts, fire­fight­ers and doc­tors. Now almost only blog­gers and tik-tok­ers are grow­ing.

In fact, the work con­sists in the cor­rect pre­sen­ta­tion of one­self or mate­r­i­al for the view­er in order to inter­est him and leave him on his page to watch the blog­ger. If ear­li­er every­thing was quite sim­ple, then with the growth of com­pe­ti­tion, the meth­ods of work began to change. The view­er has become more demand­ing of con­tent and more selec­tive.

In addi­tion to blog­gers, now almost every child or young per­son has his own page in one or more social net­works. And con­stant­ly fills it with pho­tos or small video works.

Have you ever won­dered why there are so many light­ing equip­ment in pro­fes­sion­al pho­tog­ra­phy or video shoot­ing? It’s sim­ple: the right light, its inten­si­ty, the angle at which it illu­mi­nates the object, affects how the view­er sees that same object. How he will feel and per­ceive it and whether he will be inter­est­ed in it.

Since not every­one can afford expen­sive equip­ment for home use, Chi­nese man­u­fac­tur­ers took care of us and came up with LED ring lights. A young “blog­ger” is also grow­ing in my fam­i­ly, who has become in dire need of such a device.

Choice

There are thou­sands of such lamps on the Inter­net, they dif­fer main­ly in shape and mate­r­i­al from which they are made. From this and more from addi­tion­al func­tions, such as the num­ber of col­ors, addi­tion­al acces­sories, their price also dif­fers. The price also depends on the impu­dence of the sell­ers.

Since my young blog­ger is not yet mak­ing mon­ey with a shov­el, I chose a lamp from inex­pen­sive mod­els. For­tu­nate­ly, they are now a shaft and in almost any store at least some­how con­nect­ed with elec­tron­ics, they can be felt, twist­ed and gen­er­al­ly inspect­ed.

In my hum­ble opin­ion, they are all almost the same, but the prices vary enor­mous­ly. Of course, there are direct high-qual­i­ty devices, but they are not weak, and there­fore I have not con­sid­ered them.

Since I knew that I need­ed a lamp with a diam­e­ter of 33 cm, I pur­chased the cheap­est I could find in this size.

Package

The lamp was pack­aged in a card­board box with pic­tures that did­n’t real­ly match what was inside. The tri­pod was in a sep­a­rate box com­plete­ly unmarked. The box­es showed with all their appear­ance that a foot­ball cham­pi­onship was tak­ing place at the post office at the time of deliv­ery, and instead of the ball they used my lamp. Despite the appear­ance, every­thing appeared to be intact and in work­ing order.

Equipment

The kit includes:

Assembly

It is extreme­ly easy to assem­ble, in fact, there are only 4 parts that need to be twist­ed.

The diam­e­ter of the lamp is 33 cm. The height when fold­ed from the floor to the cen­ter of the lamp varies from 87 cm to 220 cm.

With a tri­pod, you need to be very care­ful and care­ful, it feels like some parts of the struc­ture are made almost of foil. While he was mov­ing it, three times there was a feel­ing that he would sim­ply crum­ple in his hands. But actu­al­ly anoth­er, from the cheap­est device, it was fool­ish to expect.

Job

The lamp shines in three modes:

• cold light
• Warm
• Neu­tral

There are ten bright­ness options for each mode. I took sev­er­al pho­tos in all 3 modes, in the bright­est and dimmest, but I took the pho­tos on the phone, and it is an infec­tion, it bright­ens them all the time. In gen­er­al, it is impos­si­ble to trans­mit the entire spec­trum with­out nor­mal pho­to equip­ment. But in fair­ness, it must be said that there is a rather large dif­fer­ence by eye.

In pho­tographs, the dif­fer­ence between cold and warm light is most notice­able.

My lamp is pow­ered via a USB con­nec­tor, I chose one specif­i­cal­ly so that it could trav­el around the apart­ment with­out being tied to a pow­er out­let.

By the way, with the lamp, the store put a gift, you see, in case the main one gives oak. Will go like light in a fish­ing tent.

Conclusion

In gen­er­al, for your mon­ey is quite a good option. Month works with­out com­plaints. But it requires care­ful han­dling. Plas­tic clips and the same flim­sy lambs do not par­tic­u­lar­ly inspire con­fi­dence. I think, when they go to hell, and it will be so, it’s only a mat­ter of time, I’ll just replace them with iron ones.

The young blog­ger is hap­py, and this is the most impor­tant thing.

My advice, if you real­ly need such a thing, and there is no mon­ey for an expen­sive high-qual­i­ty one, take the cheap­est one, in more expen­sive options the tri­pod is a bit more pow­er­ful, but the lamp itself is the same (at least among those that I watched). When falling, both the cheap and expen­sive option will shake. And so the choice is yours.
