Greetings!

In this review, we will consider a slider from Andoer.

The manufacturer Andoer specializes in the manufacture of various photo / video accessories and has already managed to gain popularity due to its good quality products and low prices.

Package

Comes with a hex wrench, a spare ¼ thread with a 3/8″ adapter and two spare wheels.

The slider is made of aluminum alloy, the build quality is excellent. On the platform of the carriage there is a screw with a ¼ inch thread, rubber strips to prevent the camera from slipping and a liquid level to set the horizon.

At the bottom of the carriage there is a bolt with which you can adjust the ease of the carriage on the rails or fix it in a certain place. The disadvantages include the inconvenient location of the bolt, it would be much more convenient if it was located on the side.

The lower carriage has 2 tripod head mounts with ¼” and 3/8″ threads.

There are retractable legs on the sides in case the slider is used without a tripod on an uneven surface. The legs do not have a limiter (you can completely unscrew it) and I will attribute this to the minuses.

Dimensions: rail length — 49cm, total slider length — 52.5cm, height (with twisted legs) — 6.3cm, with maximum unscrewed — 7cm, slider width — 8.8cm.
slider weight: 1.5kg.

The main advantage of this slider is that when used on a tripod, the working area increases from 49cm (when used stand-alone, not on a tripod) to 86cm. The movement is carried out thanks to bearings and a nylon belt.

The manufacturer claims a maximum load capacity of up to 8kg. The slider works great with my camera, which weighs 1.5kg.

Based on operating experience, I can say that this thing is very useful and necessary for videographers, but it requires some skill to shoot really beautiful shots.

This slider greatly simplified and diversified subject video shooting. Before that, I had to make and use improvised means, like this:

Video demonstration of the slider:

+ high build quality;
+ good equipment;
+ the presence of the level;

— inconvenient location of the carriage lock bolt;
— no leg restraints;
— no blocker (to stop the slider in the right place).
