Hi all. Today I’ll tell you about perhaps the most popular and high-quality smartphone tripod from Xiaomi, containing a selfie stick and a Bluetooth button. Most Chinese holders don’t live long. In tripods, due to the fragility of the structure, the leg constantly falls off or some other element fails. It would seem that the design is simple, but there is something to break. That is why, I decided to buy myself a good tripod for installing a smartphone as a computer webcam, and of course the choice fell on Xiaomi.

Package

The device is delivered in a small cardboard box with colorful printing and the Mi corporate logo, which indicates a direct belonging to Xiaomi, and they obviously do not want to risk their “broken legs” reputation in such a mass product. On the front is an image of the device itself. On the side are the main specifications of the Bluetooth button and the weight of the device. There are also images demonstrating the operation of the tripod elements.

Device

The device itself is made of very good quality dense ABS plastic. All elements are tightly fitted and do not dangle. On top is a rubberized smartphone holder. It can rotate 360 degrees. Every 45 degrees, they peel off and fix the smartphone in the desired position.

In the plane, the holder can also be adjusted. It has a folding design, due to which in one direction the smartphone can be completely brought closer to the body of the tripod, and in the other direction it can be turned only 30 degrees.

This is not a design limitation and is intended to ensure that the smartphone does not outweigh and knock over the tripod. On the other hand, no one bothers to install the smartphone on the other side and point the cameras down if necessary. Surprisingly, you can catch a position in which the smartphone will not outweigh and the tripod can be used as a full-fledged tripod.

The tripod’s legs have rubber tips and provide good stability on most surfaces. The legs are equipped with magnets that fix them in the folded position when using the device as a selfie stick.

Dimensions and height

The telescopic tube has three parts and in the fully unfolded position, the tripod mounted on the surface has a height of 59 centimeters. In the fully folded state of the telescopic tube, the tripod has a height of 25.5 centimeters.

As for the size of the selfie stick, with the telescopic tube folded, it is 27 centimeters. With the telescopic tube fully extended, the length is 64.5 centimeters.

bluetooth button

Under the holder is an element of molded rubber, which houses the Bluetooth button with the Mi logo. The button and logo have a nice blue backlight. I am glad that the device does not work from a battery, but from a battery that is charged via a microUSB connector.

Conclusion

Summing up, I can say that the tripod is really made very soundly and, despite the large number of moving elements, it is much superior in quality to its nameless Chinese competitors. An undoubted advantage is its compactness, reliability and knockdown of the design. Thanks to the magnets, nothing dangles, while you can quickly bring the tripod into position. It is difficult to single out any disadvantages, since this is perhaps the best tripod that combines a selfie stick that can only be found on the market in terms of price and quality. What do you think about this device? Perhaps for someone this tripod absurdly broke or came with a marriage. Write about your operating experience in the comments. That’s all. Thank you all for your attention. Bye.
