Not com­pa­ra­ble in qual­i­ty to the G3, but does the job well. An excel­lent fea­ture of the device is the abil­i­ty to lis­ten to the sound from the trans­duc­er in real time through head­phones. There is a nor­mal record­ing mode, and there is an “improved” one with cut bot­toms. Anoth­er would be a direc­tion­al micro­phone in the kit, then it would be absolute­ly won­der­ful.
